Diacritical Characters
The AAR strives to include diacritical characters properly in our records. To enter diacritical characters on a PC, do the following:
- Make certain that NUM LOCK is selected.
- Hold down the ALT key.
- Enter the correct numerical sequence, from one of the tables below, on the numeric keypad. (Note that this will work only if you use the numeric keypad – not the numbers at the top of the keyboard above the alphabet.)
- Release the ALT key.
You can also copy characters from this page and paste them into the appropriate locations.
